Empty closets on a list
Before removing tall furniture, write down what it contains and how often you use each group of objects. A kitchen may seem lighter in plan and have no room for everyday dishes. The decision must check where that content will go, not be limited to the number of doors that disappear from the front.
Distribute content without transferring difficulty
The drawers and columns offer different accesses, but their useful capacity depends on the pieces and how they open. If custom furniture is proposed, it relates each interior to that list of objects. Heavy containers and replenished foods often need a location that is manageable during daily use.
Assess the finish that will be revealed
In a renovation for Nórica, it also shows the wall and lighting under the current cabinets. By removing them they can change the joints and the working light. The lighting review allows you to study these surfaces without assuming that the general lamp will automatically replace the function of the disappearing points.
